“¡Ayúdanos!”, February 25, 2022, is a raw cry for help; an unfiltered expression of the pain, fear, and urgency faced by immigrants seeking refuge. Layered handprints in blood-red paint evoke both presence and erasure, while black and purple drips suggest violence, grief and spiritual endurance. The painting speaks to those caught between borders, humanity, and survival.
