This piece explores the cognitive and emotional split between love and lust. ‘Love’ is etched into the brain, symbolizing conscious desire for connection, while ‘lust’ falls from the eye as a tear, representing the painful, involuntary result of being misunderstood or objectified. Surrounded by love yet filled with grief, the figure’s expression shows the cost of emotional mismatch. It’s a meditation on purity, pain, and the vulnerability of wanting more than the flesh.
